Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, availability, and managing all technical aspects.
  • Customize and optimize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement new features and functionality.
  • Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility for all WordPress websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our websites are current and competitive.
  • Implement website security and data protection measures.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
    • Experience with front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and core concepts.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
    • Knowledge of SEO best practices for web development.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Experience with popular WordPress page builders (Elementor).
    • Understanding of website optimization techniques (caching, minification).
    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
    • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, canva) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
